Base Frame
Body mounted on steel base frame c/w ISO corner casts painted black.
Exterior Cappings
Anodised aluminium cappings finished in white to all perimeter edges of box. Stainless steel protection plates at ISO points to protect capping and sidewall at this point.
Body work flame retardant PIR insulation
Body to be of sandwich panel construction with white polyester finish to exterior.
All joints bonded and capped with white extrusions. Panel joints appropriately covered.
PIR insulation in walls and bulkheads – 4 element construction to include protective ply and inner steel skin.
PIR insulation in roof
3 element construction with inner steel skin.
RTM Styrofoam in floor
5 element construction to include steel barrier and flame retardant grit surface.
Floor (as above for PIR spec)
Sandwich panel floor construction with heavy duty reinforced GREY polyester top floor with grit impregnation. Chamfered angle fitted around perimeter of floor. 2400mm x 1200mm alloy tread plate sheet fitted at rear door entry.
Floor colour : Aircraft Grey.
Rear Doors
Double opening rear doors c/w periphery rubber seal. 240v self-limiting heater tape fitted around both doors and door perimeter. Aluminium kick strips to base of doors.
Door buffer and door retainers to be fitted. Stainless slamlock fitted to rear door c/w 3 off stainless steel hinges per door. Sprung loaded shute bolts to secondary door.
Stainless steel threshold plate. Aperture dimensions: 1850mm H x 2160mm W.
Stainless steel external locking bar situated across doors on locating lugs.
Removable impact bar with rubber buffer below door entry.
Stainless Steel door gutter with drain pipe to nearside
Interior Protection
Wall mounted Lower kick strip extending upwards by 300mm.
Electrics
Man trapped beacon and sounder.
Interior panic button.
Out of temperature alarm fitted.
Supply and fit power supply box with circuit breakers.
All electrics fitted and tested.
Interior Lights
14 off surface mounted 240v LED interior lights and also 1 x 12v emergency light fitted.
IP65 rated switch on inside of rear bulkhead. Protective frame over switch and panic alarm
The three pallet wide design is highly efficient for storing high quantities of product and can be used to chill, freeze or maintain constant ambient temperatures. Each Max Box can be used for more than just storage and an be equipped as a preparation room or a production area giving you the opportunity to increase your capacity without needing to invest in new property.
We now have a range of New PIR (flame retardant) 3 pallet wide coldstores available (from 22 to 39 standard pallets).
When in use, the new PIR range leads to cheaper insurance due to a higher safety rating than a traditional coldstore. This is especially applicable when connecting your new cold storage to an existing facility.
